The Project

Back in the XVI century this same place used to be a smithy and you can still find the ruins of that old building downstairs in the breakfast room and lounge.
The ruins are intertwined with the old foundations of this building which was built after 1755 when a powerful earthquake destroyed it with most of downtown Lisbon.
Staying true to the building’s history, we set out to combine both present and past, preserving the memory of the city itself.
